Rose Marie Beauchemin, a make up and makeover artist for
more than twenty-five years introduced Après Camouflage Make Up to the
medical arena in 1996. Her knowledge of cosmetics and their ingredients paired
with her extensive color acumen helped her to co-create the most natural and
effective, waterproof camouflage make up available today. “There is no
compromise with Après,” states
Rose Marie, “you can easily pat away even the darkest flaw or the blackest
tattoo.”
Ms. Beauchemin’s background within the Beauty Industry began with an
early career in owning salons. In her own weekly newspaper column, as a beauty
expert, she created the urgency for area clients to try her wondrous and innovative
cosmetic products. Today, her Après camouflage makeup is becoming recognized
worldwide.
Rose Marie’s strong background in color theory and wardrobing led to
another facet of her career as a make over artist. Accompanied by her promotional
marketing skills she attracted corporate giants like McDonalds, to select and
correct colors for uniforms; Subaru of America, to develop and teach a Dress
for Success Program for their executives, Provident National Bank and The Four
Seasons Hotels to orchestrate wardrobe and color presentations and full makeovers.
Rose Marie is a lecturer on make up artistry, color theory and marketing
in the beauty industry and is often the requested featured guest speaker at
the industry’s national and international conferences. Her keen marketing
skills were rewarded by numerous editorials, television appearances and radio
talk show invitations.
Ms. Beauchemin founded The Beau Institute of Permanent and Corrective Cosmetics
in 1990, where she presently teaches para-medical cosmetics and permanent cosmetics
to plastic surgeons, nurses, technicians and cosmetologists and is considered
an expert leader in her field. She is a professional member of the Phoenix
Society for Burn Survivors, supports their Summer Camp for children who have
suffered burns and donates Après camouflage make up to burn camps. Volunteer
work has always managed to fit into Rose Marie’s life, no matter how
busy her career. After a five-year program that she designed for the Associated
Services for the Blind, teaching color, wardrobing and make up application,
Rose Marie was nominated for the prestigious Thomas Jefferson Award. This award
honors those who generously volunteer their services throughout the year.
